They have a difficult time believing that others love them for who they are, so they are ready to undertake major efforts to achieve love and security
Aquarians don’t let crisis situations get to them, which is why they can’t understand the extent of the emotional uncertainty Cancers say they feel. They can make Cancers feel that they are overreacting, causing Cancers to lose their trust in their own feelings and become helpless. This is why Cancers should leave themselves options to retreat and protect themselves from emotional injuries. Aries, as the tenth sign, takes away exactly this retreat, driving Cancer away until Cancer gives up, exhausted.
Cancers aren’t concerned with success, so they don’t need to distinguish themselves through constant activity. They are more like sponges, absorbing impulses from other people. This can easily turn into a type of egotism in which only their own feelings count. Volatile Geminis fascinate Cancers greatly, although they react to Geminis’ mood swings in a hurt and insulted way. This kind of relationship can quickly turn into emotional dependency, which the Gemini creates with his random fluctuations between closeness and distance – an almost deadly trap for a Cancer. In general, there are various ways to manipulate a Cancer. Their emotions make them susceptible to being talked into feeling a certain way or to having their feelings qualified. Cancers also react quickly in an injured or offended way. If someone doesn’t take their feelings seriously, or even specifically tries to injure their emotions, they will withdraw completely.
This is one way to eliminate them as a possible competitor. They have a great longing for security, and family and private life are very important to them. Working on these areas can exploit a Cancer’s helpfulness. Other Cancers, especially, can utilize these insights.
If you are a Cancer and feel that other people are always taking you on an emotional rollercoaster, then it’s highly likely that these people aren’t really interested in you at all. Instead, they are manipulating you using your sign’s characteristic weaknesses. Be careful if someone wants to force their way into your family or your safe spaces too quickly, and consider whether your feelings of sympathy can really help you make a decision about another person or are just a projection of your own longing for security. It’s good to be there for other people, but never lose sight of your own goals and values.
