They take the bad luck of a broken mirror seriously.
All of us are at least a tiny bit superstitious. You may not have anything against black cats, but you still try to stay away from Ouija boards for fear that you’ll be inviting some malevolent spirits into the house if you touch the planchette.
Superstitious zodiac signs tend to be the more dreamy and spiritual of all the signs in astrology. If their personalities were all about hard, cold facts and rationalizing the things that can’t be explained, they wouldn’t be this way. Superstitions are connected to the spiritual realm. If you have faith in certain things, it’s easy to believe in other things that don’t have any solid evidence; by performing rituals or living by certain rules, it affects your life.
In a way, superstitions comfort us. They don’t have to work, but if you truly believe that they do, you give them power.
Ever wonder why people knock on wood? It’s to chase away the evil spirits or prevent them from listening in when you’ve bragged about your luck. You hit wood so that you don’t experience a reversal of fortune. This may seem silly to you, but for many people it’s so ingrained in their psyches that they do it without even thinking.
1. PISCES (February 19 – March 20)
Pisces individuals tend to live their life by their beliefs — and that includes superstitions. Before they take action, they look for good omens and signs. They believe in making the most of both your good and bad luck.
Pisces are very intuitive and listen to their instincts. If they think signs are indicating that something bad will happen, they’ll do whatever they can to avoid it, even if that means staying in bed all day. There are times when Pisces individuals are just waiting for something bad to happen, and when it does, they consider it as proof that their sense of foreboding was correct.
2. ARIES (March 21 – April 19)
Aries think their life is akin to a hero’s journey. Most of the time, because of their skills and amazing personalities, they’re very lucky. But they don’t take their luckiness for granted and are always ready to face whatever bad luck or misfortune comes their way.
Aries tend to believe that they have control over what happens to them and that by following certain superstitions they make themselves less vulnerable to complete disaster. It’s said that Aries tend to believe the superstition that if someone is talking about you, your ears burn or itch.
3. LIBRA (September 23 – October 22)
Libras don’t want to court bad luck, so they tend to follow old-timey traditions. You can be sure if a Libra has anything to do with a wedding, the bride will have something borrowed, blue, old, and new, and she won’t be allowed to see her partner on her wedding day.
But it doesn’t just stop there. A Libra will make sure that none of the wedding gifts are knives (it signifies a broken marriage), that the bride is carried over the threshold, and that if the bride is changing her name, she doesn’t use her married name before the ceremony because that could jinx everything.
4. SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)
Scorpios are superstitious in a new age way. They like to have crystals in their house, will do a sage smudging ritual to cleanse their aura and get rid of any bad energy in their home, and will even wear amber beads and pendants as a way to protect their health and welfare.
If any sign has an affinity for the occult or witchcraft, it’s Scorpio. Luckily, most of the time they lean toward helping others and making things better. Unless, of course, if you betray them; then it becomes dark and vengeful.
5. LEO (July 23 – August 22)
Leos may not think of themselves as superstitious, but their reaction to certain things shows that they believe in them enough to work hard to avoid them. Leos tend not to go to psychics or mediums, not because they think that they’re frauds, but because they worry what they might tell them.
If someone cursed a Leo or put a spell on them, it would cause Leo to have a big reaction. While it may not seem like a superstition, Leos take their dreams very seriously and believe that they’re not only messages from their own subconscious but also from the dead. So, yes, whether they admit it or not, they’re superstitious.
